Step into the arena. Do the deeds.

Registration is $35 and each participant is expected to raise at least $130 of support for his or her campus chapter build or local Habitat affiliate. The $25 fee provides meals over the weekend, gas, insurance and other trip expenses. (There's also a $5 fee for a bus ride back to Purdue at the end of the ride, if you choose to use that resource. That helps cover gas for those buses.) You will be hard pressed to find better value anywhere else.

If you are in need of a bicycle, Habitat will provide one on a first come, first served basis for the duration of training and the event for a fee of $40. $20 will be reimbursed after the bicycle has been returned with normal wear and tear. The other $20 will be used for repair and maintenance on the bike. If you need a bike, please email Connor Guingrich for more information (cguingr@purdue.edu).

T-shirts are optional for an additional $10.

Join the event on Facebook.

Because in the end it has almost nothing to do with the bike and everything to do with setting out to accomplish something that is intimidating, that is unknown to you, something you know you have a good chance of failing at but doing it anyways and slowly but surely proving yourself wrong.
